Agitator AssemblyAgitators are available as either fixed or removable assemblies. Removable units are traditionally located via a Triclover fitting for ease of field usage.Impellor sizes and operating speed are selected to best suit the properties of the medium to be agitated or stirred.Motors are either pneumatic or electric with fixed or variable speed; class 1 zone 1 enclosures are available.Contents GaugeTo allow remote visual indication without affecting the integrity of the IBC poppet type indicators are available. The gauges are available in a variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminium and plastic. For maximum protection the indicator tube is available with either a stainless steel or coated carbon steel guard.Decanting AdapterDesigned to allow decanting whilst the Dangerous Goods series IBCs are stacked. The stainless steel Decanting Adapter is built to the same high standards as the Liqua-Tainers offering a minimum of 50mm interlock for safe field operation. The unit is designed for retro-fitting to existing IBCs.Hoses supplied are of composite construction fitted with matching camlocs. Hose selection is based on compatibility of the medium to be transferred.Liquid Level IndicatorThe sight tube is fully enclosed on three sides by a stainless steel frame, the front being a clear polycarbonate cover. The cover is available with various scales indicating height or calibration rates to customer specifications.Connection is via camloc couplings and isolation valves, an access port is provided in the Stacking Ring. The unit can be removed and fitted in the field.Heating BlanketA removable insulated Heating blanket has been designed allowing product to be heated whilst in the IBC.The unit is available with 500, 700, 1500 and a 2200 watt integral element, the external cover provides insulation.Temperature control is either by sensing skin temperature or via in internal probe. Control boxes with field adjustable thermostats are available.Weather-shieldWhere IBCs are being used for the transport of hydroscopic liquids or being operated in high rainfall regions Weather-shields are offered to prevent water pooling on the Pressure Manway. The Weather-shield is constructed from aluminium and uses two stainless steel spring clips for locking. The design allows retro-fitting to existing units without hot work.
