The Light Service series of plastic IBCs are specifically designed for the semi bulk transportation, storage and dispensing of Liquids, including Dangerous Goods related Liquids The rectangular design and low tare weight of the IBC optimises space requirements for both transportation and warehousing. The low tare weight also ensures optimum use of transportation. The IBC is designed for Top Fill and Bottom Discharge. Product can be dispensed via gravity or be aided by a customer supplied pump set for rapid decanting.Inner ContainerThe inner container is made from high molecular weight, high density polyethylene, blow moulded and shaped to shed external water.Outer FrameThe inner container is protected by a welded galvanised tubular steel lattice-work frame, with a large permanently fixed ID plate.Minimal ResidualThe IBC incorporates a pressed galvanised steel base shaped to support the inner container and sloped to the outlet to assist total drainage and ensure expensive residual is kept to a minimum.Reduced ContaminationMaximum drainage and radiused corners allow ease of cleaning and ensure cross contamination is kept to a minimum.SafetyThe IBC is designed to be moved with a forklift or pallet truck and incorporates a 4-way entry, steel runner pallet.Bulk DeliverySavings can be achieved by purchasing in bulk and with reduced internal handling costs.StorageThe footprint of the IBC is based on a standard international pallet size for ease of storage and transport. The IBC can be stacked for transport and storage and provide an excellent fit in ISO-ContainersVentingThe IBC is available with a range of venting options including pressure and vacuum vents, to best suit specific applications.Top FillThe IBC is designed for top fill via the 150mm screwed cap opening.Bottom DischargeA specially designed 50mm discharge valve, complete with secondary screw cap closure, is provided as standard for safe and precise control of contents during emptying. Also provided is an outlet nozzle which is stored adjacent to the discharge valve. The discharge valve is recessed within the outer parameters of the unit to ensure maximum protection.Standard EquipmentDischarge: 2 Ball valve Fill: 150 mm screwed capMaterialsInner: Polyethylene Frame: 15mm tubular steelOptionsHeater BlanketValve adapters
