Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Metal Machinist to join our team. This role involves setting up and operating manual lathes, milling machines, drills, and grinders to manufacture precision metal components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and set up manual lathes, milling machines, drills, and surface grinders.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Perform precision cutting, drilling, tapping, boring, and shaping of metal components.
  • Conduct quality control checks using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators).
  • Modify and repair existing metal parts for industrial equipment.
  • Maintain workshop safety standards and perform routine maintenance on machinery.

 

Skills & Experience Required:
✅ Certificate III or IV in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or equivalent).

✅ Minimum 2 years of experience as a manual machinist.

✅ Ability to read and work from technical drawings.

✅ Experience with precision measurement tools.

✅ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
